Blind Ambition

David sat in his office in the small local branch of Hot Properties, a satisfied smile taking shape on his lips. That bitch of a boss Suzanne was going to be out of the office for a full two weeks on vacation leaving him in charge, heaven, a whole two weeks without her constant nagging and condescending comments. His daydreaming was interupted as his computer signalled the arrival of a new email, it was a message from head office redirected to his account from his boss's.

'Suzanne, that half-blind old crazy lady Ms. Snow is looking to invest in more of our condos and is requesting she meet with you specifically tomorrow (see attachment). As you know, she is extremely wealthy and this deal could be very lucrative for us, so I won't take no for an answer. Get this right and a promotion could even be on the cards. Regards. Mason Moore.'

David sniggered to himself at the thought of his boss getting in hot water for missing the appointment. Serves her right! But then another idea began to form in his mind...if he could somehow secure the deal himself, maybe he could get the promotion and be done taking orders from Suzanne forever. Ms. Snow was basically blind after all, maybe someone else could meet with her? Looking over his desk at the entirely male group of staff under his command, he slowly realised just how far he would have to go to pull this off...

It was the next day and David felt the warm midday sun beat down on his back as he layed out the contract on a podium to dictate to Ms. Snow the terms of their agreement. He silently cursed his choice of outfit from his sister's wardrobe as it was too tight and too short and he adjusted his stance slightly to prevent his dress riding up his waxed legs and over his ass. Speaking of his sister, he cringed at the humiliating memory of asking for her help with his transformation. Being a stylist, her help was almost essential if this plan was to work, putting in hair extensions and plastering on layer after layer of thick makeup until he barely recognised himself before spending the evening showing how to walk in heels like a believable woman. His painful feet served as a reminder but David feared the real scars of the experience would be much deeper. However, for all his stumbling and bumbling, it was a case of so far so good. He had to hand it to his sister, she really had done a good job of turning him into a passable version of Suzanne and now, despite feeling ridiculous, he was on the verge of getting Ms. Snow to sign the contract.

'Thank you for all your help deary,' the old woman croaked, 'I can see we're going to work very well together!' David's heart stopped in his chest. Work together?! 'It was so kind of Mr. Moore to lend you to me to oversee the renovation of the properties...it could take months!'
